SmartDeskVerse (smartdeskverse.com) is operated by TalosWorks Inc., a Canadian corporation (“we”, “us”). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Tools, not guarantees

Our tools are for everyday work, study and organizing. We work hard to make every tool correct and to explain its limits on its own page, but we can't guarantee that the site or its results are complete, current or free of errors.

Clocks and timers use your device's clock. Alarms, timers and reminders run inside your browser and can be delayed or missed if the browser closes, the device sleeps, the tab is put to sleep, or sound and notifications are blocked. Never rely on this site for anything where a missed alert could cause harm, such as medication, cooking safety, travel connections or waking up for something important. Use a dedicated device alarm for those.

Using the site

You may use the tools for personal, educational and business purposes. Please don't:

• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its services;
• scrape or copy the site in bulk, or use automated tools to send large numbers of requests;
• use the site for anything unlawful, or to mislead others about where something came from.

Your entries

What you type into a tool stays in your browser on your device unless that tool clearly says otherwise. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important: browsers can clear saved site data, and saved entries don't move between devices. Each tool offers a way to export or clear what it saved.

Our content

The site's design, text, code and tools belong to TalosWorks Inc. or its licensors. You may share links and quote short passages with credit. Other copying or republishing needs our written permission.

Links and advertising

The site may link to other websites, and we may later show advertising from third parties (none is shown now). We don't control those sites or ads and aren't responsible for their content, products or practices.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TalosWorks Inc. is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its tools. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

TalosWorks Inc. is a Canadian corporation. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute about them or the site will be handled by the courts of Ontario. This doesn't take away any protection you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live, including any right to bring a claim there.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
